What is Sedma
It is played with a 32-card German-suited deck. Aces and tens bring the points, 10 each. The seven is the strongest card, as it always takes. Most often it is played in pairs: partners sit opposite each other and collect points together. A game is short but full of tactics, as you need to know when to add an ace and when to hold it back.

Sedma rules
Goal
With two players you play against each other; with four, partners sit opposite each other. Every ace and ten is worth 10 points, and the last round another 10. Whoever has more points wins the deal.
Cards
The letters in a card's corner: U = Unter, O = Ober, K = King, A = Ace. The Unter and the Ober are these cards' jack and queen.
Deal
Everyone gets 4 cards; the player after the dealer leads. After each round, starting with its winner, players draw one card each from the stock until they have 4, while it lasts. The winner leads next.
Round
The leader plays any card; its rank is the taking rank for the whole round. The others play one card each, any card; nobody has to follow. A seven or a card of the taking rank takes for now: the last such card wins the round.
Going on
Once everyone has played, the leader ends the round or goes on with a seven or a card of the taking rank, and the others play again. The leader may end it even with such a card. If going on isn’t allowed, or the leader has no cards, the round ends by itself. Depending on the table settings, the leader may go on anytime, or only when beaten.
Who takes
Whoever played the last taking card takes the round and all its cards.
Game points
The winner of the deal gets 1 game point, 2 when the opponents have no card points, and 3 when they took no round. One deal is played, or, as the table is set, up to 5, 10 or 15 game points.
Who deals
The losing side deals next. With four players, the dealer changes within that side when it loses again.
Everyone for themselves
No pairs. One deal is played and the players are ranked by points. Only if the host turns it on.
Burn
Burned opening: if the first four cards of a round have one rank, whoever played the fourth wins the deal at once with 3 game points (in solo, first place), and no last-round bonus. Burned hand: four cards of one rank in your hand, after a deal or a refill, win the deal at once with 3 game points (in solo, first place). If several hands have it, the first one from the leader counts. Both apply only if the host turns them on.
Turn time
You have 30 seconds for each card and for deciding whether to end the round; otherwise a bot plays and your next turn has only 15 seconds. Play a turn in time and you get 30 again. After two missed turns the bot keeps playing until you tap I’ll play at the start of your turn.
Leaving and bots
Whoever leaves the game gets a bot in their seat. They can come back while the game runs; otherwise they lose, even if their side wins with the bot. If you lose the connection, a bot plays for you until you are back.
