Terms of use

The service

Mastíme is a free web app for card games and Ludo (Človeče). It is run on a non-commercial basis by a private individual, contact: [email protected].

You can play as a guest or with an account. You can create an account from the age of 16 (15 in Czechia), younger players only with a parent’s consent. Keep your password safe; you are responsible for play on your account.

Fair play

• Play for yourself. Do not use programs that play or give advice for you.
• Do not exploit bugs; tell us about them instead.
• Do not manipulate statistics, for example by playing against your own other accounts.
• Do not overload or disrupt the server and do not try to access other people’s accounts.

Behaviour at the table and in chat

Be kind. Harassment, insults, threats, hateful or sexual content, spam and sharing other people’s personal data are not allowed. The same goes for player names.

A table’s host can remove a player from the table. For breaking the rules we may change a player name, limit access or close an account. Chat is not stored, so please report bad behaviour with a screenshot.

No money

We play for fun. Mastíme is not gambling: there are no stakes or prizes and nothing in the game has monetary value. Do not use the app for betting or playing for money.

Availability and liability

The app is provided free of charge and as is. We try to keep it working but do not guarantee that it is always available or free of errors. Tables in progress may end during an update. We may change, pause or end the service.

We are liable for damage only to the extent the law requires. This does not affect your consumer rights that cannot be excluded by contract, nor our liability for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence.

Closing an account

You can delete your account in your profile at any time. We may close it too for a serious or repeated breach of these terms; where possible we let you know by e-mail.

Paid features

Everything is free at the moment and we offer no paid features. If they ever arrive, they will have their own terms of sale that you accept before buying, including information on your right of withdrawal.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Czech law. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection given by the law of the country where you live. You can also settle a dispute out of court: in Czechia through the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (coi.cz), in Slovakia through the Slovak Trade Inspection (soi.sk). The Czech version of these terms prevails.

Changes to the terms

We may change these terms; we publish the new version here and announce important changes in the app. If you disagree, you can delete your account.
